Hi, I'm Colin Towne, a freelance photographer and videographer from Wausau, Wisconsin, and a recent graduate from NTC's Video Production Program. Growing up in northcentral Wisconsin, I was surrounded by social communities, changing seasons, and the kind of everyday moments that quietly tell powerful stories. Inspired by social media influencers and modern content creators, I blend that small-city perspective with a digital-first mindset, creating visuals that feel authentic, cinematic, and engaging.

 

My drive for visual storytelling began when I discovered how powerful a single image or moment can feel. I've always had the urge to capture amazing visuals with meaning through the lens for people to enjoy and resonate with. With an emphasis on careful composition, lighting, and detail, I have developed experience capturing and editing pictures (BTS, events, etc.) and videos (short documentaries, short films, & training videos) for both personal and client projects. I am committed to producing high-quality visuals while continuously developing my creative skills in a professional environment. Whether I'm behind the camera for a photoshoot, developing a short film, or taking on any role as a film crew member, my mission is constant: making relevant, real, and compelling stories that connect with people. I believe each project is a chance for me to learn, experiment, and grow as an artist while sharing my perspective with everyone.
